Dior’s J’adore has new campaign focusing on digital. Starring: Charlize Theron

Dear readers, we are getting to the final countdown for the fragrance industry. Christmas is coming and brands use this period to launch their new fragrances, or to communicate again their classics. On one of the first posts I wrote about Chanel signing with Gisele Bundchen as the new face for Chanel no.5 for the next 2014 campaign. Dior, legendary rival of Chanel, couldn’t remain less.

LVMH’s Christian Dior released its newest J’adore fragrance campaign with ambassador Charlize Theron. This time they have used to launch the campaign a dedicated Website and several videos in YouTube (I really invite you to see how Charlize appears stunning climbing through a silk ribbon to the top of a dome).

Dior asked consumers with a teaser to save the date to enhance anticipation for the brand’s latest J’adore fragrance campaign. On Sept. 3, as promised, the campaign was completed with the release of a mini-site and the full-length video with Ms. Theron. The campaign sees the return of fragrance ambassador Charlize Theron and picks up where her previous campaign left off. Consumers familiar with the previous efforts were enticed to see how the story developed in the continued campaign.
