Dear readers, I’ve been a bit disappeared from the blogging map this last weeks, but I’m back with a lot of strength and ideas, caused by the Holiday feeling <3. I had family and friends visits these days, and even though they give you a lot of love, fun and company, it’s exhausting to match hard work, people over, going out, city tours around Barcelona, french lessons, keeping the house clean AND dedicate some hours to my passion: try to build a community with my blog and share some knowledge with you 🙂
Today I want to write about a very interesting (and kind of hot) action from Ferragamo. Fist of all, I’d like to explain that I have a special connection with the brand’s founder, Salvatore Ferragamo, because even though he became famous in the states, he’s original from Florence, Italy, and half of my family is from that amazing city, which I consider one of the most beautiful and charming of the world. Therefore, since I was little I’ve been very familiar with this fashion house, visited its Florence’s exhibitions and museum, and admired its legendary ballerina’s wall.
Now, the brand wants to show homage to the designer and commemorate its founder’s determination and vision with a video series, profiling men who also make their own rules, called “A Man’s Story”. From the 1st December, all Ferragamo’s social media profiles posted pictures of very handsome famous men, which lives are similar to the designer one. Here I leave you some examples, but I suggest you to go directly to the brand’s Facebook and Twitter.
A click Through led the consumer to the special area on Salvatore Ferragamo’s website, where some famous modern men share what decision brought them to where they are today. With a compilation of pictures, videos and biographies, you can know this men and see the similarity with the italian designer.
I find it very cool how the brand has been able to connect young celebrities with the personality of the brand’s founder. This action will definitely bring new customers, either men that identify themselves with the characters or women who find them attractive and admirable. These rules breakers are:
The co-founder of online auction house Paddle8 Alexander Gilkes,Entrepreneur Louis-Marie de Castelbajac,The director of Heist Gallery Tyrone Wood
Which is your favorite? 😉
